Michael S. "Mickey" Fulp The Mercenary Geologist Michael S. "Mickey" Fulp is a Certified Professional Geologist with a B.Sc. Earth Sciences with honor from the University of Tulsa, and M.Sc. Geology from the University of New Mexico. Mickey has over 40 years of experience as an economic geologist and analyst searching for economic deposits of base and precious metals, industrial minerals, coal, uranium, oil and gas, and water in North and South America, Europe, and Asia. He has worked and traveled in 31 countries.Mickey worked for junior explorers, major mining companies, private companies, and investors as a consulting economic geologist for over 20 years, specializing in geological mapping and property evaluation. The Mercenary Geologist criteria to analyze a mining company are very strict and Mickey rejects more than twenty companies for every one he agrees to investigate further. The company must have a tightly held and efficient share structure, be led by trustworthy, experienced, and talented management and technical teams, and have a flagship property in favorable geological terrane within geopolitically stable and environmentally friendly areas that are permissive to develop a profitable mine. A cornerstone of Mickey's investment criteria is to choose companies that have a strong chance of doubling in share price in 12 months or less. He thinks it is best to sell one half of a position upon a double, reduce the cost basis to zero, and in turn invest the money into another stock that has a strong chance of doubling within a year. An investor can then play his remaining zero-cost position for the occasional five or ten bagger. His "Power of Two" trading methodology is a nearly infallible way to make money in a bull or bear market.
